Last week I detailed where Cornell alumni live across the country, and I noted at the time that I was most surprised by Denver's relatively high standing in the rankings -- ahead of larger metropolitan areas like Phoenix and Atlanta. are more likely that it is one of the most educated cities in America, has one of the highest qualities of life, and Forbes recently ranked it the number 4 best city for grads.
Might help to explain why so many Cornellians have been following the 'Pikes Peak or Bust' mantra.
