Even though some of the decisions may have been tough, if not heart-wrenching, I've been consistently impressed by the pro-activeness of the administration regarding the tragedies of February and March. Here is Skorton encouraging faculty, staff, students, and alums to engage with the University and to provide informed suggestions as to how to become a more caring community over the long-term. It's definitely worth your three minutes to watch: I already made some suggestions in this regard last month, and I probably should put them in a more formal letter and send them off to the powers that be. It will be interesting to see how Cornell changes over the next decade as a result.
